This was a picture taken a few weeks after my surgery in 2012. Dr. Vories took me to the Hair Restoration Conference where other doctors examined my head. The picture on the right was from the same conference 2 years later.

Do you see any improvement??? The second picture was taken two years after my surgery!
I just wanted to show this 30 second clip of my transformation from beginning to end. This was made less than a year after my initial surgery. Keep in mind, I was a Norwood 6 patient.
On the Hair Transplant Network website I sometimes get asked how fast your head will heal after surgery.
Today I'm posting 3 pictures after my second surgery. The first picture was taken 2 days after surgery. The second picture
was taken 14 days after surgery and the third was taken 26 days after
surgery. It's amazing how quickly your donor area heals.
This is professionally produced video created by Carolina Hair Surgery which shows my complete journey. Take a look, its very informative with great before and afters. It also includes multiple pictures of my fabulous looking wife Michele! Enjoy!
I'm often asked what to expect if someone decides to cut their hair very close at some point. Would you be able to see scars from an FUE procedure? This photo was taken minutes before my 2nd surgery (two years after my first surgery). You can clearly see that there is no discernible scarring that is noticeable and my entire head has been shaved. Over 1,700 grafts were extracted from the area outlined in purple by Dr. Vories.
