It's been 9 years since my first FUE hair transplant by Dr. Vories at Carolina Hair Surgery!  This video created by Dr. Vories has been viewed on YouTube nearly 74,000 times. I show this video on the anniversary every year since my surgery in 2012.  My surgery at the time was regarded as one of the largest FUE procedures ever in one continuous procedure over three days.

I'm often asked about the visibility of scarring.  This short video was taken 6 months after surgery.  There is no visible scarring.  I'm also attaching a picture taken just before a 2nd surgery after my head was shaved.  You can see no discernible scarring from a couple week away.  Over 1,750 grafts were taken from the outlined area.

I haven't shown this picture in a long time.  As most of you know, Dr. Vories took me to the Bahamas for the International Hair Surgeons conference in the Bahamas just five weeks after my first surgery.  I was on display and being examined by hair surgeons from all over the world.  I had received over 5,000 FUE grafts which was unheard of at the time in 2012.  Most doctors were amazed at my recovery in such a short amount of time.  You can see how bald I was and classified as a Norwood 6 at the time.

I haven't posted a picture in a while.  This photo was taken a few months ago of Michele and I.  We've been married 28 years!  Yes.... I did quite well!!!!  The other was prior to my surgery almost 10 years ago.
