1 Year & 14 weeks Since My FUE Hair Transplant

Today I'm posting a couple more before and after photos.  It's amazing how many people tell me I look much younger.  Some people who haven't seen me in several years say.... "Retirement is working great for you because you look stress free and at least 10 years younger!"  I usually tell them its not the retirement but the new HAIR that's making me look younger.  They are astonished when they hear I had hair surgery!

The picture on the left was taken at a school administration conference at Lake Tahoe in 2006!  I lost a lot more hair in the next six years prior to the surgery!  The picture on the right was taken recently.  My good-looking wife always looks young!  I had to have hair surgery so our ages wouldn't appear so far apart! I'm seven years older than Michele.

15 months since My FUE Hair Transplant

I'm posting a couple pictures today to show you how I looked prior to surgery and a recent picture.  The first picture was taken just after my sister got her new puppy.  "Laddy" is a standard french poodle who is now about 70 pounds!

The other photo was taken of Michele and me at West Baden Resort in Indiana.  I think you can really tell the difference in my appearance with and without hair!

Thanks again for hanging in there with me while my blog was down!  What a nightmare for two weeks!!!!!  Today I'm posting two pictures.  The one of the left was taken 30 minutes prior to surgery and the one on the right was taken this week!  Yea....I know....I look much younger now!!!!!

I'M BACK !!!!

Thanks for returning to my website!  I would like to blame all of this on the Government Shut-Down or that my website was linked directly to the new federal HealthCare.gov website!!!!!  However, it's been down for two weeks due to some technical issues, most of which were beyond my control.  During the past 13 days I've emailed for assistance, made multiple phone calls and read Google forums with others frustrated about similar circumstances!  I finally was able to talk to a human-being at Google and he was very helpful but could only offer assistance for part of the problem.  I've spent over seven hours total on the phone with Google and mostly with GoDaddy...the company who is now permanently providing the website support.  If you call GoDaddy you immediately talk to a tech person who is very attentive and very patient.  These folks have been trained well and they all want to help!  I NEVER was on hold waiting for a representative.  Someone always answered the phone and was willing to help! The folks at GoDaddy have been fabulous to work with and last night they finally were able to make my website viewable to the public again!

1 YEAR Anniversary of My FUE Hair Transplant!

One year ago TODAY, my hair transplant surgery was complete!  It has been a wonderful ride and I want to personally thank Dr. Vories for changing my image and certainly changing the way I feel about my appearance!  So many people immediately notice and say I look so much younger!  Today, I'm including a recent picture of me and Michele and one taken over a year ago!  I think you will notice quite a difference!

Today I'm posting a series of pictures of my crown area showing the progression from surgery last September to the most current picture taken this week.  You can clearly see how bald I am in the picture prior to surgery.  The second picture shows the crown area 4 weeks later and before some of the "shock-out" from the new grafts.  The final picture shows my head tilted back exposing the entire crown area.  With a normal head position people see a much fuller head of hair in that area.

39 Weeks since My FUE Hair Transplant

Today I'm posting a couple pictures from a different angle to show my progress.  I'm still hoping for additional growth and for a couple areas to fill in or become thicker. 

9 months since My FUE Hair Transplant

I'm always encouraged when I run into people I haven't seen in a while and they make comments regarding the growth of my hair and how good it is looking.  The progress at this point is hard for me to see.  I have to rely on others who haven't seen me in a few weeks to get a true measure of progress and appearance.  I do not solicit their opinion....they offer it on their own which is encouraging.

Today I'm including a before and after photo of my crown area to show you the progress over the past 9 months.

35 Weeks since My FUE Hair Transplant

I've revised the last post and have included three pictures.  The first picture was taken when my wife (no that's not Marie Osmond) and I  were chaperoning a senior prom at a high school where I was teaching back in 1993.  The quality of the picture is not great because its a picture of an old picture. You can also see a "hot spot" created by the flash.  

The second picture was taken the first day of surgery at Carolina Hair Surgery eight months ago in September 2012.  

The third picture was taken recently.  You can clearly see that the most recent picture shows hair growth very similar to the picture taken 20 years ago!   Make sure you scroll down to see all three pictures.
