2 Years & 16 Weeks since My FUE Hair Transplant

I travel to see Dr. Vories in 12 days to have surgery!  I hope to have about 2,000 grafts relocated!  Most of the grafts will be transplanted to the front with a little work on the hairline and an area just behind the hair line that Dr. Vories wants to make a bit thicker.  You really can't see the area when your looking straight at me but I can see it in the mirror and its more obvious when I dip my head (like the first picture).  The second picture was taken at the 2012 International Hair Surgeons conference in the Bahamas.  I was on display and being examined by hair surgeons from all over the world.  The conference and pictures were taken five weeks after receiving 5,125 grafts in September of 2012.

Carolina Hair Surgery has confirmed my new date to have about 2,000 grafts done.  I will be traveling to Dr. Vories Charlotte clinic in early January!  So...in January I will be able to post many new photos of the procedure and progress reports throughout the year!  Keep checking back on my blog for updates!  Today, I'm posting a couple older pictures you may not have seen!

I've had to postpone my surgery once again because of work related responsibilities through the Christmas season. I train teachers to become principals for Asbury University and I have several events now scheduled in December including a banquet that was scheduled the day after I was to have surgery.  I asked Dr. Vories if he could reschedule me.  Because of his popularity and booked schedule, I'm hoping for a January date to have about 2,000 grafts completed.  I recently found this photo of me on his website www.carolinahairsurgery.com.
