Carolina Hair Surgery recently sent me this picture from their archives showing the progression of hair growth with me over several months during the first year. 

 

 

My blog has been averaging over 1,000 views a day for about a month!!!  I sure appreciate you sharing this blog with others.  Also, thank you Carolina Hair Surgery!  Dr. Vories is the MASTER of hair transplants!

These pictures are a good before / after and include my beautiful wife Michele.  We've been married for 32 years! Michele is a hair dresser and cuts my hair regularly.  She said he hasn't noticed any or very little hair loss in the recipient areas over the past 13 years since my surgery.

Here's a picture from the past prior to surgery and a current picture taken of my wife and I at a recent show at the Palace Theater in Louisville, Kentucky.  

 

I'm often asked about scarring after surgery.  Dr. Vories used a 0.8mm punch and there is no visible scarring. This short 1 minute video shows how well my donor area has recovered and clearly shows no evidence of scarring.  This picture was taken just prior to my 2nd surgery and you really don't see any discernible scarring even with my head shaved.  Dr. Vories had removed over 1,750 grafts from this outlined area two years prior.

 

 

I haven't shown this picture in a while!  The picture on the right was taken five weeks AFTER my first surgery in 2012.  I was on display at the International Hair Restoration conference with Dr. Vories.  

Wow, what a transformation!

 

 Nearly 13 years later and my hair still looks great!  I've posted one of my favorite pictures of all time!
